This 126 acre coldwater lake is a NH State Park. Said to be one of the cleanest swimming lakes in the state. Due to the popularity of this beach and state park it is recommeneded that you make reservations for the parking lot. On nice weekends and holidays, the beach will most likely sell out during the morning hours. Once the beach area reaches capacity, additional beach goers cannot be admitted due to safety concerns. Campers will also not be allowed to "claim"picnic tables or areas on the beach/picnic area prior to our daily opening.
