Tucker Pond is an 86 acre lake with a RI DEM fishing access site at the north end. There is a cement plank boat ramp here and a small parking lot. There is a 10hp limit on all boats on the pond. Most of the shoreline of the pond is wooded and natural, but privately owned except for this RI DEM site at the northwest corner and a town park (Tuckertown Park) at the northeast corner of the pond. Tucker Pond has various coves and islands to paddle around. It is stocked with trout in the early spring. Nearest Town Center: Wakefield.

Ramp Comments: Cement plank boat ramp. This is a site for launching boats from trailers. Boat ramps can normally be used to launch canoes and kayaks but please do your best to keep the boat ramp clear for boat trailers.

Directions: From Route 1 south, go past Wakefield and turn right onto Post Road north. Go 0.3 miles north on Post Road and turn left onto Tuckertown Road. Go 1.9 miles and look for the RI DEM Tucker Pond access site on the left. From Route 1 north, use the turn-around 0.9 miles after Moonstone Beach Road to get onto Route 1 south and then take an almost immediate right onto Route 110/Ministerial Road.
