Meadow Brook Pond is a medium sized, 23 acre pond on the edge of the Carolina Management Area. The west side of the pond has some houses along it but the east shore is wooded. Only non-motorized boats and boats powered with an electric motor are permitted on the pond. Swimming is not permitted at the fishing access site. This area is stocked with trout several times throughout the year. Note that it is NOT possible to paddle from Meadow Brook Pond down to the nearby Pawcatuck River. Nearest Town Center: Wood River Junction. The fishing access site along the shore of the pond is wooded but open and has nice views down the pond.

Directions: Heading east on Route 112, go past the Wood River Junction Post Office at the junction with Switch Road and go another 0.2 miles. Look for a DEM sign for "Meadowbrook Fishing Area" on the left. Heading west on Route 112, go past the John M. "Jay" Cronan River Access site on the Pawcatuck River and go another 0.6 miles. Look for a DEM sign for "Meadowbrook Fishing Area" on the right.
